Job Summary:
Mars Trading LLC is looking for a motivated and target-driven Sales Executive (B2C) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for direct sales to individual customers (B2C), focusing on a wide range of building materials such as plywood, whitewood, hardware, electrical supplies, sanitary products, cement, and more. You will develop relationships with homeowners, contractors, and other end-users, guiding them in selecting the right products for their needs. Your goal will be to meet or exceed sales targets while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B2C Sales Development:
  • Identify and target individual customers, homeowners, contractors, and end-users in need of building materials.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of building materials, including plywood, whitewood, hardware, electrical supplies, sanitary products, cement, and other related products.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers through regular follow-ups, providing personalized service and product recommendations.
  • Product Knowledge & Customer Assistance:
  • Stay well-informed about the company’s entire product range to effectively assist customers in selecting appropriate building materials.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers, understanding their needs and offering the best products to meet those needs.
  • Advise customers on product specifications, features, and benefits to ensure they make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by proactively engaging with new and existing customers.
  • Upsell and cross-sell related products, providing customers with a comprehensive solution to their needs.
  • Handle price negotiations and offer promotions when applicable, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and after-sales support.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Market Research and Lead Generation:
  • Identify potential customers through market research, networking, and attending relevant industry events.
  • Expand customer base by generating new leads and converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to better position our products and offerings.
  • Sales Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, quotes, and orders.
  • Report on sales performance, key metrics, and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts and reports regularly to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  • Work closely with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of products for customers.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to handle payment follow-up and ensure smooth transactions.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, market trends, and opportunities for product improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in building materials or related industries.
  • Knowledge of building materials such as plywood, whitewood, hardware, electrical supplies, sanitary products, and cement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi (both written and verbal).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
