As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Sales Executive (Land Freight) to drive the sales and business development of our land transportation division Heavy Truck Transportation (Cross Border). This role is key to increasing our market share in heavy truck transportation across the GCC and Middle East regions.

Position Summary

The Sales Executive – Heavy Truck Transportation will be responsible for building strong client relationships, promoting and selling Cannata’s heavy truck services, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role involves regular field visits, understanding client logistics requirements, providing customized transportation solutions, and retaining long-term business partnerships.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proactively meet with clients across the UAE, GCC, and Middle East to generate leads and close sales deals for heavy truck transportation services.
  • Promote and position the company’s cross-border trucking capabilities, including FTL, LTL, and customs clearance.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Identify market opportunities, analyze competition, and develop strategic sales approaches.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient service execution.
  • Monitor shipment movements, POD collection, and client feedback post-delivery.
  • Maintain an updated CRM database of all prospects, leads, and sales activity.
  • Directly accountable to the HR and management.
  • Responsible for achieving individual monthly sales targets (net profit-based).
  • Must ensure accurate documentation, client communication, and handover to operations.
  • Maintain full ownership of customer satisfaction from lead generation to post-delivery.
  • Authorized to represent Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services in client meetings and commercial negotiations within approved pricing margins.
  • Propose promotional campaigns, trade participation, and local marketing efforts for approval.
  • Coordinate directly with internal departments for client-specific service arrangements.

Requirement

  • Strong knowledge of GCC cross-border road freight, customs procedures, and heavy vehicle transport regulations.
  • Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record in B2B logistics sales or the transportation sector.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in land transportation or logistics services within the GCC.
  • Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel regularly across the GCC.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
