Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets.
- Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate leads.
- Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance.
- Deliver engaging product demos to potential clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities within designated territories.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and reports for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales with a strong track record in B2B environments.
- Familiarity with territory management strategies and direct sales techniques.
- Experience in technology sales or technical sales is preferred.
- Proficient in using CRM software for account management and lead tracking.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Previous experience in retail sales or inside sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
