Sales Lady/ Man

Should have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service along with dedication to creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience to our customers for premium products, while maintaining customer satisfaction to a great level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provided a warm welcoming atmosphere for the customers in the Jewellery Store.
  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry pieces based on their preferences, occasion, and budget.
  • Provide detailed information about the features, quality, and uniqueness of various Jewelry products, highlighting their materials, craftsmanship, and value.
  • Offer personalized recommendations and styling suggestions to customers, ensuring a memorable and satisfying shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of different gemstones, metals, and jewelry designs to educate customers and help them make informed purchase decisions.
  • Achieve the given Sales Target.
  • Handle customer inquiries, including pricing, product availability, and after-sales services, promptly and accurately.
  • Detect customer needs / requests and communicate needs to Branch Managers.
  • Daily update on Visual Merchandising
  • Perform jewelry inspections and apply cleaning and maintenance guidance to all the stocks to enhance the longevity and beauty of their jewelry pieces.
  • Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and issuing receipts, while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain proper inventory control by monitoring stock levels, restocking displays, and coordinating with management for reorders through BM.
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the jewelry business.
  • Guides and coaches, his allocated Junior Sales Consultant sharing all his experiences, challenging, and testing him on his knowledge and providing him with all his customer knowledge.
  • Trains his allocated Juniors to follow on his customers during holiday leave.
  • Keep the store appearance pristine, including merchandise displays, cleaning showcases, and organizing & cleaning jewelry inventory and responsible for Daily Update of Visual Merchandising.
  • Stay updated on current jewelry trends, industry knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide the most relevant and up-to-date information to customers and update to BM.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including adherence to security protocols, privacy regulations, and ethical business practices.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up communication, and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Attend training and seminars to upgrade knowledge and ability
  • Mandatory to obtain self-learnings on products (Watches and Jewellery) and train the staff.
  • Should be able to maintain devotion, trust and upright transactions along with customers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education Qualifications:
    • Education Qualifications: • Relevant degree in Sales & Marketing and/or equivalent years of experience.
    • Strong Knowledge in Jewellery Knowledge and /or Luxury Watches Knowledge.
  • Professional Experience:
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience. (A 2-month training course in the jewelry workshop applies)
  • Competencies:
    • Product Knowledge: Possessing a comprehensive understanding of various jewelry products, including gemstones, metals, and design aesthetics, to provide accurate information and guidance to customers and Strong Knowledge of Watches such as Technical and Selling Skills with comprehensive sales dialogue. Also, sound knowledge on Visual Merchandising.
    • Customer Service: Delivering exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers, understanding their needs, and providing personal recommendations and solutions.
    • Sales Skills: Ability to generate sales including conducting effective sales dialogue in combination of product knowledge opening and closing sales techniques, to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue with great Sales Mix.
    • Communication: Communicating clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, both verbally and in writing, to convey information, answer inquiries, and build rapport.
    • Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail in all aspects of the job, including accurately handling financial transactions, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of jewelry displays.
    • Product Presentation: Showcasing jewelry products in an attractive and appealing manner, utilizing visual merchandising techniques to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
    • Adaptability: Adapting to changing customer preferences and market trends, staying updated on industry knowledge, and quickly learning about new jewelry designs and styles.
    • Problem-Solving: Demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve customer concerns or issues in a proactive and efficient manner, providing suitable solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to a positive and harmonious work environment to achieve shared goals and provide seamless customer experiences.
    • Professionalism: Exemplifying professionalism in appearance, behavior, and work ethic, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to ethical standards and company policies.
    • Integrity: Ability to maintain trust and honesty with all the transactions and deeds.
    • Negotiation Skills: Should be able to show the value of the Jewellery, Watches and convince customer on Value.
    • Existing CRM:
      • Familiarize of the modes of tracking customer profiles and history.
      • High Level of Self-Motivation to learn new products, concepts and skills.
    • Interpersonal Skills:
      • Self-motivated and Can-do Attitude
      • Should have basic computer knowledge.
