Lexon Supply Co. is a family-owned, third-generation distributor specializing in restaurant supplies, paper goods, janitorial products, and related B2B essentials. We serve businesses across the Tampa Bay and Central Florida region and are entering a major growth phase heading into 2026.
We are seeking an accomplished, hands-on Sales Team Leader to build the foundation of Lexon’s sales organization. This is a ground-floor leadership role for a driven sales professional who thrives on outbound sales, process-building, and team development.
The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for driving new account acquisition, establishing a repeatable sales process, and building Lexon’s future sales team from the ground up. This individual will lead by example—actively prospecting, cold calling, closing new business, and documenting best practices that will be used to train and scale future sales associates.
This role is ideal for a high-energy sales leader who is comfortable making approximately 30-40 cold calls per day, leveraging CRM tools to manage outreach, and taking ownership of Lexon’s long-term sales growth strategy.
Lead aggressive outbound sales efforts to bring on a high volume of new customer accounts in 2026
Make approximately 30-40 cold calls per day, consistently prospecting and qualifying new business
Build, document, and refine Lexon’s end-to-end sales process, including:
Prospecting and lead management
Cold call scripts and objection handling
CRM workflows and follow-up cadence
Quote creation and closing process
Utilize CRM software daily to track calls, pipeline activity, follow-ups, and conversions
Close new accounts while establishing long-term customer relationships
Analyze sales activity and results to improve performance and scalability
Lay the groundwork for recruiting, training, and onboarding future sales associates
Mentor and eventually lead a growing sales team once processes are established
Collaborate closely with ownership and operations to align sales strategy with company goals
Represent Lexon Supply Co. professionally in the marketplace and help define the company’s sales culture
Proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting and cold calling
Demonstrated experience leading, building, or managing a sales team, or serving in a senior sales role with leadership responsibility
Comfortable making a high volume of daily cold calls ( 40/day)
Strong experience using a CRM to manage leads, track activity, and drive accountability
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of results
Excellent communication, persuasion, and closing skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Experience in restaurant supplies, janitorial, paper goods, or B2B distribution
Experience building sales playbooks, scripts, or training materials
Background in scaling sales teams or helping grow a company through rapid sales expansion
