Sales Manager

Devin Event Management is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and tourism-savvy Sales Manager to join the team for Astra Lumina Istanbul — an enchanting night walk experience and the first of its kind in Europe and Türkiye, created in collaboration with the internationally renowned Moment Factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strong sales network specifically in the tourism industry.
• Plan and implement group ticket sales strategies aimed at travel agencies, tour operators, and hospitality partners in both local and international markets.
• Build partnerships with:
• Incoming agencies, tour operators, DMCs
• Hotels, resorts, tourism facilities, and local guides
• Travel & MICE companies, tourism platforms, and experience resellers
• Public institutions such as municipalities or tourism boards for potential group agreements
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to generate new tourism-based sales opportunities.
• Maintain and grow long-term relationships with tourism stakeholders.
• Work towards monthly ticket sales targets through proactive outreach and on-site visits.
• Stay updated with travel trends, visitor behaviors, and new channel opportunities in tourism and experiential entertainment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development (preferably in tourism, events, or entertainment).
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) with incoming travel agencies or destination management companies (DMCs) is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in English is preferred; other languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of tourism-based sales, group bookings, and market segmentation.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.
• Willingness to work both in-office and in the field, including site visits and tourism fairs.
• Ability to quickly build a relevant client portfolio or activate an existing one.
