Sales Manager

A Sales Manager in a travel company’s B2B (business-to-business) market is primarily responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other industry partners. This role focuses on corporate and agency sales, not direct-to-consumer, and often involves frequent travel, industry networking, and strategic account management

Core Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Strategy
  • Develop and implement annual/quarterly sales plans to expand company reach in key B2B markets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential partners and markets
  • Benchmark competitors, analyze market trends, and adapt strategies to maximize market share
  • Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by management
  • Partner & Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and consortia
  • Serve as the main contact for B2B partners, providing support, training, and solving issues promptly
  • Organize and lead familiarization (FAM) trips for partners to boost confidence in your products
  • Coordinate closely with product, operations, and finance teams to fulfill partner needs
  • Sales Execution & Operations
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commission structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability
  • Prepare and present proposals, tariffs, sales kits, and marketing collateral for B2B partners
  • Track and report on sales performance, account activity, and market trends to management
  • Follow up aggressively on leads, inquiries, and payments to ensure business materialization
  • Handle complaints and determine eligibility for refunds or compensation
  • Industry Engagement
  • Attend and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Network with peers and competitors to stay informed and identify new opportunities
  • Maintain visibility on global distribution systems (GDS) and ensure accurate, competitive content
  • Team Leadership
  • Coach and mentor sales team members to achieve collective and individual targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals
  • Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and ethical sales practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
