Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales operations in the Riyadh region. The role involves supervising the sales team handling Government and Semi-Government clients, driving business growth, expanding the customer base, and ensuring consistent achievement of company sales objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a deep understanding of the local market.
Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development (45%)
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the Riyadh region.
- Develop and expand the customer base across hotels, restaurants, catering, institutional, and wholesale distributor segments.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms to maximize sales and profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery and stock availability.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
Business Support (35%)
- Monitor the payment collection cycle and follow up on outstanding dues.
- Supervise the sales team, ensuring compliance with company policies and reporting standards.
- Maintain accurate sales records and analyze data to improve performance.
- Collaborate with procurement and import teams to ensure product quality and availability.
- Provide product training and presentations to sales teams and key customers (e.g., chefs, purchase managers).
Competition Research (10%)
- Conduct market analysis and competitor mapping across restaurant, catering, and wholesale channels.
- Monitor competitor pricing, packaging, distribution, and promotional activities.
- Provide management with insights on market demand, trends, and potential growth opportunities.
- Identify bulk buyers and develop customized sales strategies.
Reporting (10%)
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including performance metrics, pipeline updates, and customer feedback.
- Share insights on competitor activities and emerging business opportunities with management.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on local branding and promotional initiatives in the Riyadh market.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–9 years of proven sales management experience, preferably in FMCG, foodservice, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of the Riyadh and KSA market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
