TheSales Manager oversees and drives all sales activities across branches to achieve revenue targets, ensure consistent customer satisfaction, and maintain operational excellence. This role involves managing sales staff, analyzing performance, and implementing strategies to boost profitability and growth

1. Sales Strategy, Planning & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Set monthly and quarterly sales targets for branches and individual sales staff.
  • Analyze market trends, seasonal demands, and competitor pricing to adjust strategies.
  • Plan promotional activities in coordination with Marketing and Operations.
  • Forecast sales and monitor progress to ensure consistent revenue growth.

2. Branch & Sales Team Management

  • Supervise and motivate all branch sales teams and cashiers to achieve targets.
  • Conduct daily and weekly meetings to review sales results and challenges.
  • Assign and adjust staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
  • Identify training needs and recommend development programs for staff.
  • Enforce discipline, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.

3. Sales Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis

  • Review daily sales reports from each branch and consolidate for management.
  • Monitor sales per product, per branch, and per staff to identify trends or issues.
  • Analyze sales performance vs. targets and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly performance presentations for management meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and adjustments.

4. Customer Relationship & Service Quality

  • Ensure all branches deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve them promptly.
  • Build relationships with key or high-value customers (corporate, bulk, or regular clients).
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products and sales approach.
  • Train front-line staff in proper communication, upselling, and customer engagement.

5. Coordination with Other Departments

  • Collaborate with Production to ensure product availability and supply accuracy.
  • Work with Admin and Accounting on accurate sales reconciliation and reports.
  • Coordinate with Marketing for promotions, advertising, and pricing strategies.
  • Support Inventory and Procurement in aligning stock levels with sales demand.
  • Communicate operational issues between branches and head office.

6. Financial Oversight & Control

  • Verify daily cash and sales deposits for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure adherence to cash-handling and financial procedures.
  • Monitor pricing consistency and authorize discounts or adjustments when necessary.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring related to sales operations.
  • Review branch financial performance (sales, costs, and profitability).

7. Staff Development & Performance Evaluation

  • Conduct regular staff evaluations based on sales targets and service standards.
  • Recognize top performers and recommend reward or incentive programs.
  • Address underperformance with coaching, training, or corrective measures.
  • Build a positive and goal-oriented work culture across all branches.

8. Compliance, Standards & Reporting to Management –

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and local regulations.
  • Maintain professional image and ensure all staff follow company standards.
  • Provide accurate, timely reports and feedback to the Managing Director or Operations Head.
  • Implement management directives effectively across all sales points.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent experience in sales management is an advantage.
  • Additional training or certifications in Sales Leadership, Retail Management, or Customer Service Excellence is preferred.

2. Work Experience

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or retail management.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably handling multiple branches or teams.
  • Background in food & beverage, bakery, retail, or franchise operations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

3. Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer relations, and retail operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Familiar with POS systems, inventory software, and basic accounting processes.
  • Analytical and data-driven; able to interpret sales metrics and performance reports.
  • Excellent understanding of pricing, margin control, and promotional strategies.

4. Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Effective team leader with the ability to motivate, train, and evaluate sales staff.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions.
  • Confident in conducting meetings, presentations, and performance reviews.
  • High level of emotional intelligence — tactful, approachable, and professional.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
