Position Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Sales Manager to join our pharmaceutical organization. The ideal candidate must be a licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree, possessing up to 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager within a pharmaceutical company.
This role is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic marketing and sales plans, and leading high-performing sales teams across local and international markets.

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sales, marketing strategies, and market dynamics.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans, including forecasting, to achieve corporate objectives.
- Formulate and present marketing and sales strategies based on in-depth understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Monitor and evaluate market research, adjusting strategies according to changing market and competitive conditions.
- Define development strategies to enhance company performance in both local and international markets.
- Ensure effective execution of sales strategies and marketing tactics at regional levels.
- Achieve targeted profit, loss, and market share objectives.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Develop and manage sales and marketing operating budgets efficiently.
- Conduct sales forecasting and set performance targets accordingly.
- Prepare periodic reports covering sales volumes, growth opportunities, and customer base expansion.
- Submit monthly sales reports, budget utilization, trend analysis, and performance updates to the General Manager.
Marketing, Promotion & Brand Management
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities across print, digital, and direct marketing platforms.
- Ensure a consistent and professional brand image across all products, promotional materials, and marketing events.
- Launch monthly product campaigns focusing on priority items.
- Recommend merchandising, promotional, and visibility programs to strengthen brand presence.
Sales Team Leadership & Development
- Design and implement optimal sales plans for Sales Supervisors and Sales Representatives.
- Strategically deploy sales teams to maximize market coverage and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor, analyze, and review sales performance, taking corrective actions where necessary.
- Conduct regular field visits to support and monitor Sales Representatives’ performance.
- Identify skill gaps and organize targeted training and development programs.
- Implement performance reviews and conduct regular team evaluations.
Customer & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
- Represent the company in business development meetings, negotiations, and presentations.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to drive business growth.
- Identify and engage potential customers not currently using Qatar Pharma products.
- Conduct customer visits to assess needs and identify product gaps.
Market Analysis & Product DevelopmentTrack competitor products and marketing activities to maintain competitive advantage.
- Analyze channel trends and category performance to drive product volume growth.
- Lead customer-focused product development initiatives based on market feedback.
- Internal Coordination & Governance
Coordinate closely with Aftersales Support, Administration & Logistics, and Product teams to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Collaborate with Finance & Risk Control teams for accounts receivable management and customer risk assessment.
- Ensure full implementation of sales and marketing plans in assigned markets.
- Provide continuous feedback to the General Manager on sales execution, market performance, and competitor activities.
- Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, and ongoing development of sales staff.
