We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager for Woodcorp – a division of Gumcorp Private Limited, specialized in interior design and custom woodwork solutions.The Sales Manager will drive business growth by developing strong client relationships, leading end-to-end project sales, managing showroom customers, and collaborating closely with design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and corporate interior design and woodwork projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Lead sales efforts for projects, including preparing proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee project lifecycle from inquiry to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.
- Drive sales from the Woodcorp showroom by guiding walk-in clients on woodwork solutions including doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and custom furniture.
- Provide expert advice on design options, materials, and finishes to showroom customers.
- Collaborate with showroom staff to ensure consistent sales processes and high-quality customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across both projects and showroom operations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to refine sales strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate leads, campaigns, and brand awareness initiatives.
- Work closely with design, production, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are met accurately and on time.
- Provide feedback from clients and showroom interactions to support product and service improvements.
- Manage multiple projects and showroom priorities simultaneously while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, and project progress.
- Report on sales performance, key accounts, and showroom metrics to senior management.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development, project sales, and showroom/floor sales in interior design, woodwork, or furniture industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Client-focused with the ability to handle multiple high-value projects and showroom operations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of interior design, custom woodwork, or furniture solutions is preferred.
