Sales Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow sales across traditional trade and retail pharmacy channels. The role focuses on expanding distribution, driving sell-in and sell-out, and building strong relationships with pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for pharmacy and traditional retail channels
  • Manage and grow relationships with pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, and distributors
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve volume, revenue, and distribution targets
  • Negotiate trade terms, pricing, promotions, and shelf visibility with pharmacy accounts
  • Drive product listings, planogram compliance, and in-store execution
  • Monitor sell-in, sell-out, stock levels, and expiry management
  • Coordinate with marketing and trade marketing teams on promotions and campaigns
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in traditional trade / retail sales, with strong exposure to pharmacy channels
  • Proven experience managing distributors and field sales teams
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of pharmacy retail dynamics and consumer healthcare products
  • Analytical mindset with strong reporting and Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a field-based, target-driven environment
