Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Locally in Qatar (PROJECT) Sales Manager to lead and oversee all sales operations of our corrugated carton manufacturing business. This role requires strong strategic thinking, international sales experience, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver business growth both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full sales process—from order placement to shipment and collection
- Identify and develop opportunities in both local and international markets
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Conduct price and market analysis to ensure competitive positioning
- Ensure compliance with local/export regulations, trade laws, and customs procedures
- Familiarity with trade finance and international payment terms to facilitate smooth transactions
- Maximize profits while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams for seamless execution
- Regularly monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Provide performance reports and market insight to leadership
- Represent the company in local and overseas trade exhibitions
- Maintain detailed records of sales, client meetings, and complaints
- Collaborate with product development teams for feedback and improvements
- Analyze competitors' products and market success
- Take on additional duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams and operations
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
- Solid understanding of industry-specific sales strategies and international trade regulations
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in diverse global markets
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to leverage market research and sales data analytics
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales management experience, ideally in the corrugated packaging/cartons industry
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Industry Experience:
Candidates with experience working with or selling to the following sectors will be prioritized:
- FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods): food, beverages, household products
- Pharmaceuticals: medical packaging, tamper-proof and coded cartons
- Food Processing & Delivery: ready-to-eat meals, frozen food, takeaway packaging
- Cosmetics & Beauty: premium cartons, printed luxury boxes
- Electronics: protective cartons, custom inserts
- Textiles & Apparel: retail packaging, e-commerce shipping boxes
- E-commerce & Logistics: shipping, subscription, and return packaging
- Industrial Goods: spare parts, hardware, and heavy-duty cartons
- Publishing & Printing: book and printed media packaging
