We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our project sales division in building materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, proven expertise in the construction and building materials sector, and the ability to develop and manage a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations with regular reviews, coaching, and feedback.
- Provide training to enhance product knowledge, negotiation skills, and overall efficiency.
- Foster a high-performance, target-driven team culture.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management for sustainable growth.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, consultants, and interior designers.
- Support team members in high-value negotiations and project closures.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of client concerns.
4. Recruitment & Team Development
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales professionals.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Organize regular training sessions and team-building activities.
5. Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead generation and brand visibility.
- Work cross-functionally with operations and logistics teams for smooth project execution.
6. Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Track sales performance and present reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Implement corrective actions to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a leadership role within the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project sales for tiles, marble, paints, lighting, sanitaryware, and related materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide a sales team to exceed targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
