Job Description: Sales Manager
Role Summary
Smartt AI is seeking a driven and resourceful Sales Manager to spearhead our client
acquisition and relationship management efforts. The Sales Manager will be responsible for
identifying, pitching, and onboarding brands that are looking to scale across digital
marketplaces in the GCC via our AI-powered e-commerce enablement platform. This is a
high-impact role that requires strong industry knowledge, relationship-building skills, and
the ability to manage multiple stakeholders through a consultative sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads in fashion, FMCG, beauty, and lifestyle sectors across India and
the GCC.
- Deliver compelling sales pitches aligned with Smartt AI’s value proposition.
- Build long-term relationships with brand founders, marketing heads, and e-commerce
leads.
- Prepare proposals, pricing models, and onboarding documentation.
- Collaborate with marketplace, legal, and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth go-live.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and close a targeted number of brands each quarter.
- Attend trade shows, online webinars, and market events to expand the sales funnel.
- Provide regular reporting on outreach, conversion, and deal health.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of B2B sales or business development experience (preferably in e-commerce,
tech, or SaaS).
- Proven success in closing high-ticket B2B deals or onboarding global brands.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, marketplace ecosystems, or AI tech
products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing structured reporting.
Tools & Collaboration
- CRM (HubSpot or Zoho), Google Workspace, Notion, WhatsApp Business.
- Work closely with the founder, marketing lead, marketplace team, and onboarding lead.
Working Structure
- 6-day work week.
- Based in Egypt, India, or remotely aligned to UAE working hours.
- Expected to maintain weekly reporting and monthly forecast reviews.
Compensation
- Salary: EGP 20,000 – 25,000/month.
- Performance Bonus: Based on deals closed and quarterly targets.
- Equity or long-term incentive options available for top performers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: E£20,000.00 - E£25,000.00 per month
