Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Sales Manager for the Electrical Products business unit to help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!

In this role you will be responsible for growing the business of Siemens Electrical Products by driving the channel partners sales and providing a holistic support to ensure a sustainable growth

Developing and executing the sales strategies for panel builders and distributors with the goal of attaining profitable business growth, while ensuring customers satisfaction.

The main target is to support and grow Siemens’ Panel-building & Distribution sales channels, ensuring a wider coverage for Siemens low voltage products in the different market segments.

In your daily work you will oversee following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Achieve the assigned business unit financial targets
  • Implementing the strategic and operative goals set by local business management
  • Develop market knowledge on Low Voltage and Control Products Portfolios.
  • Conduct market intelligence activities and develop market study & product positioning strategy for Siemens low voltage products.
  • Provide information on market trends, segments, potentials, customer needs, pricing, driven dynamics and applications.
  • Build-up the pricing strategy for Panel-building & Distribution sales channels
  • Definition of panel builders pricing, competitiveness, and winning strategy for projects business
  • Definition of distributors pricing and distribution network strategy for retail business
  • Supporting launch of new products & solutions and design of new business models.
  • Drive demand generation activities with projects’ stakeholders such as end users, planners and contractors in Oman’s market.
  • Building up and maintaining business relationships with end customers, contractors, electrical consultants, and panel builders.
  • Supporting & providing competitive edges and sales arguments for LV products portfolio.
  • Improve the partners hit-rate in projects
  • Identifying new infrastructure and industrial projects on the market and acquiring information about projects planned at an early stage.

Your Qualifications And Skills

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering field from reputable university or college.
  • 10+ years of experience in the field of low voltage switchgear within the Middle East Market
  • Strong sales & marketing background in a similar industry
  • You have a solid experience with key consultants and contractors in the power distribution market
  • You should have strong experience with electrical networks and switchgear design for LV and related standards & regulations
  • Our Ideal candidate has an advanced critical and respective Product/Market Analysis skills
  • You will impress us with your outstanding presentation skills & market Intelligence skills
  • You enjoy working in multicultural, diverse, working environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic. Further language skills are highly appreciated.
