Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Lighting Sales Specialist with proven experience in the electrical and lighting industry. The ideal candidate will drive B2B sales, develop relationships with consultants, contractors and distributors, and support technical specification and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and manage existing accounts within Dubai and surrounding areas.
• Qualify leads, prepare proposals, and close sales for luminaires, lighting controls, and accessories.
• Work with lighting designers, electrical consultants and contractors to specify products and ensure correct application.
• Provide technical product knowledge, prepare take-offs, quotations, and submittals.
• Coordinate with operations, logistics and project teams to ensure timely delivery and support installation.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets; maintain CRM records and sales reports.
• Represent Aura Luminaire at client meetings, site visits and industry events.

Requirements

• 3+ years sales experience in the electrical and lighting industry (lighting manufacturers, distributors, or MEP contractors).
• Strong technical understanding of lighting products (LED fixtures, controls, drivers, IP ratings, photometrics).
• Proven track record of B2B sales success and project-based selling.
• Existing relationships with consultants, contractors, and distributors in Dubai/UAE preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and lighting specifications.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, Business or related field preferred.
