We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our Project Sales Division in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, in-depth knowledge of the construction sector, and a strong track record of driving sales growth while managing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Set KPIs, track performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Conduct training sessions to strengthen product expertise and negotiation skills.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and consultants.
- Support the team in high-value negotiations and project closures.
- Ensure client satisfaction through responsive service and support.
4. Recruitment & Development
- Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales professionals.
- Encourage continuous learning and career advancement within the team.
5. Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Work closely with operations and logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Track and analyze sales performance to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare reports for senior management.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales leadership role within the building materials/construction industry.
- Strong background in project sales of tiles, marble, paints, lighting, sanitaryware, or related products.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
