Job Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Engineer will be responsible for both office-based sales activities and onsite client visits. This role involves identifying potential customers, handling technical and commercial inquiries, developing strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through regular plant visits and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, visit, and develop new customers across target industries (Power, Cement, Steel, etc.)
  • Conduct onsite plant visits for product presentations, inspections, and technical discussions.
  • Handle incoming inquiries, prepare technical and commercial offers, and follow up until order finalization.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships through regular field visits and communication.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (design, production, dispatch) to ensure timely delivery and service.
  • Prepare detailed visit reports and sales forecasts.
  • Support management in new business development and strategic partnerships.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare marketing reports, forecasts, and strategic plans for management review.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming procurement programs.

Travel Role & Expectations:

  • Frequent domestic travel to customer sites, plants, and vendor locations (approx. 15–20 days per month).

Requirements:

  • Qualification: B.E / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 2–5 years (preferably in Bag Filter, ESP, Boiler, or Industrial Equipment sector).
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of technical and industrial products.
  • Good communication in English and Hindi (Tamil preferred).
  • Negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven and comfortable with regular travel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and report preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
