Shipowners, ship operators, and maritime businesses, Oil, Gas and Offshore industries in UAE, GCC and internationally.

Accountability:
Are accountable for their acts and omissions.
Responsibility:
To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.
Authority:
To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.
Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant field.
Master’s Degree in Business Management is preferred.
Professional Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in Ship Chandelling Sales & Trading. Technical knowledge
of items. Experience in Procurement will be an added advantage.
Geographic Experience:
- United Arab Emirates / GCC
- UAE Driving License
Computer Skills:
MS Office package and working in Oracle is preferred
Language Skills:
Proficienty in English is must.
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
- Market knowledge is vital.
- Excellent Time Management, Industry knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Customer Service best practices
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up ship chandler business in UAE in collaboration with Management.
- Generate Ship Chandlering business in UAE from Shipping Agencies, Shipping companies, Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas industries, Ship Chandlers in UAE, GCC Countries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Identify the leads, potential clients and develop business opportunities.
- Develop expertise in ship chandlery products such as marine equipment, provision supplies, and spare parts.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients in relevant business sectors.
- Achieve Sales Targets through regular / planned visits to customers and prospects.
- Devise and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share.
- Collaborate with sales Team to drive business growth.
- Respond timely to all inquiries and participate in related tenders.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements in line with Milaha’s policy.
- Ensure a stable source of ship chandelling items and maintain stock for timely delivery.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with product performance and service.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports outlining performance, market trends to Supervisor.
- Maintain and update Database of leads, client visits and prospects regularly.
- Analyse Sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
