Mission

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for defining the strategic direction and vision for the organization's marketing and sales efforts. This role involves developing and implementing data-driven strategies to achieve corporate objectives, including boosting brand awareness, enhancing customer experience, and driving growth in ridership and revenue.

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead brand partnerships, cultivate customer loyalty, and facilitate cross-functional collaborations to align organizational priorities with customer needs and emerging market opportunities. This position is also accountable for generating revenue from advertising and other commercial ventures.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

  • Define and oversee corporate strategies, along with developing comprehensive marketing and sales plans that align with business objectives and address emerging trends and evolving market demands.
  • Develop a sales strategy, through creating a dynamic plan designed to maximize revenue from existing company assets and capitalize on new commercial opportunities.
  • Report to senior leadership, providing them with data-backed recommendations and insightful updates on customer satisfaction metrics and key market trends.
  • Represent the brand at all key industry events, public forums, press events, and stakeholder engagements.

Brand, Performance, & Growth Management

  • Oversee brand positioning, while ensuring a consistent and clear brand identity across all platforms to maintain a unified public perception.
  • Track products performance, along with analyzing sales data while using an agile innovative marketing approach for rapid improvement and invigorate sales.
  • Set KPIs and benchmarks, in addition to establish specific, measurable key performance indicators for all marketing campaigns and teams.
  • Manage the marketing budget, while effectively allocating funds and demonstrating a clear return on investment (ROI) to senior management.
  • Collaborate with territory teams, to ensure that all physical marketing materials are accurate and up-to-date.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor the team, along with guiding direct reports and managing relationships with external agencies and partners.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with departments heads to identify and execute strategic opportunities, including optimizing service offerings, enhancing on-ground and online customer touchpoints to improve the overall customer journey and align promotional efforts.
  • Manage a marketing calendar, which ensures that territory teams are aligned, and resources are used efficiently for every campaign and event.
  • Align initiatives with business objectives, ensuring all marketing and customer experience efforts support the company's broader strategic goals and NAT requirements.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Fluent in both Arabic & English (French is a Plus)

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Expert knowledge of service industries and urban public transportation services.
  • Proven experience in market research, brand management, customer journey optimization, and multi-channel planning and budgeting.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing and Sales (with at least 5 years in a managerial position).
