Sales Officer

The Role
FMCG sales roles in the UAE/Dubai (e.g., Sales Executive, Manager, HORECA) focus on managing client relationships, expanding market share, and driving revenue for food products (dairy, frozen, edible oils, snacks). Key duties include achieving sales targets, managing orders, in-store merchandising, and expanding distribution channels. FMCG Sales Officer for F&B Core Responsibilities: • Sales & Distribution: Drive sales volume, achieve monthly/annual targets, and ensure product availability across supermarkets, hypermarkets, and smaller retail stores. • Account Management: Manage relationships with key accounts, including supermarkets, HORECA (hotels, restaurants, cafes), and B2B clients. • Field Operations: Conduct regular market visits to check stock levels, ensure proper merchandising, and monitor competitor activity. • Order Management: Process sales orders, ensure timely delivery, and handle collections/payments, often using a pre-sell model. • Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, sales forecasts, and market feedback for management. • HORECA/B2B: Driving bulk sales to foodservice providers. • Modern Trade: Managing relationships with major retail chains. • Local sales: Direct distribution and sales to smaller retail outlets.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1–5 years of experience in FMCG food sales within the UAE. • Licensing: Valid UAE Driving License is often mandatory for field roles. • Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills. • Knowledge: Understanding of the local retail landscape, including modern trade and traditional channels.
