Sales Officer

Position Overview

The Sales Officer role at PKPLUS batteries is a critical field-based position focused on maximizing product presence and driving sales growth within the Lahore region. This role requires a young, energetic, and hardworking individual who will act as the primary link between the company and retail FMCG outlets. The ideal candidate possesses strong order management skills, excellent data entry accuracy and effective communication abilities. This role requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring timely and precise order processing. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in time management and multitasking to meet deadlines and handle a variety of customer requests promptly. The role also requires the candidate to have a motorbike and a smartphone to facilitate mobile order processing and market visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned retail shops, distributors, and markets daily to engage with clients and book orders for products.
  • Maintain strong, trusting relationships with shopkeepers and distributors to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure product availability, proper display, and optimal visibility of our products in retail outlets.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by company.
  • Provide detailed market feedback regarding competitor products, pricing, and consumer demand to inform business strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with the supply and distribution team to confirm timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
  • Record and maintain accurate sales data, compiling and submitting daily sales reports to management.
  • Effectively use a mobile phone and personal transportation, such as a bike, to facilitate daily operations and customer visits.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently cover assigned territories and maximize order bookings.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues promptly, applying problem-solving skills to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures during all sales and order booking activities.

Knowledge & Skills

This field-level role requires a high degree of discipline, resilience, and technical understanding of retail distribution.

  • Product Visibility & Display: Expertise in ensuring products are prominently displayed on shelves to attract customers.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: Proficiency in monitoring stock levels and coordinating for timely replenishment.
  • Branding & POS Execution: Practical skills in correctly placing and updating Point of Sale (POS) materials like posters and stickers.
  • Market Reporting: Ability to provide daily field reports regarding competitor activity and market trends.
  • Relationship Building: Strong communication skills to maintain professional rapport with retailers and pharmacists.

Qualification

Education: Intermediate or equivalent qualification.

Experience

Total Experience: At least 2 year of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing.

Relevant Background: Past experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, or Distribution as a Sales Representative, Order Taker, or Merchandiser.
