Minimum Education: B.Sc. Agriculture

Career Level: Mid Level

Experience: Must have between 5-6 years work experience in a similar role within the fertilizer/pesticides market in the specified areas, with proven results of sales and market development, in a leading company.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct area-wise visits & establish, develop and maintain positive relationship with the existing & prospective dealers/farmers.
  • Regular market visit to build relationships and product awareness.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with dealers and supervise their performance, while building the dealer network.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets.
  • Present daily & monthly reports to Line Manager
  • Provide & assist customer related information to Head Office/Line Manager for the development of CRM database.
  • Conduct farmers meeting / field days as per guidelines.
  • Understand and advise farmers/dealers regarding the use of specific products with regards to the crop, soil condition, disease etc.
  • Devise ways of improvements through feedbacks, working closely with the Line Manager
  • Carry out market research and competitor activity tracking and reporting.
  • Carry out marketing activities by placing marketing material as per guidelines of the company
  • Organizing farmer days as per company’s marketing plan.
