What You Will Be Doing

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for directing resources and managing large and complex national, global and Alliance customer quotes.
• Interface with multiple departments within the customer and Arrow, including supply chain, sales, purchasing, asset management, and finance to review, understand, analyze and determine approach needed to proceed with Request For Quotation (RFQ).
• Identify and correct any NEDA assignment discrepancies in the IQ tool and perform advanced scrubbing of commercial and MIL Spec part numbers for accuracy and optimum system hits, using Part Search, Component Quest, Darkside, and web-based tools. Recognize cross selling opportunities and inform field sales. Complete and detailed understanding of quote process may include post-quote analysis.
• Communicate the quote strategy

While it is preferred that the candidate is a degree holder, the following are the “Must-Have” requirements to be successful in the role:

• Has developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
• 1 + years of experience with equivalent related experience
• Completes work under moderate supervision.
• Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions.
