Sales & Procurement Officer – MARINE, Building Materials, Oilfield Trading Company

Candidates with Previous 2-4 years’ experience in Sales and Procurement dealing with clients of Vessel Owners/ Ship Chandlers, Marine Industry, Oil & Gas – Knowledge in Marine/ Ship Chandling / Oilfield (onshore & offshore) Supplies, Hand tools, Technical Materials, Electricals, Safety, Firefighting, HVAC, Pipe Fittings, Sanitary & Hotel Amenities in Dubai are given preference.

Experience in the UAE market for more than 2- 4 years is a Must with hands on experience in Sourcing & Sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Construction Co Sales, Retailers, B2B for the products Electrical, Safety Products, Sanitary Materials, Tools, and hardware etc.
• Good knowledge of Marine/ Oilfield (Onshore & Offshore) Supplies.
• Hands on experience in sending quotations, getting the best prices, comparing prices.
• Generate monthly and annual sales for the assigned territory by regular interaction with the purchase teams.
• Hands on knowledge in UAE Suppliers for Building materials/ Hardware, Tools, Safety Items & other Consumable Hardware, Plumbing and Sanitary Wares.
• Dealing major brands for tools, building materials, safety equipment, Consumable Hardware, marine equipment, maintenance items, plumbing and sanitary items.
• Dealt with major customers from Oil & Gas, Ship Chandler, Marine, Vessel Owners, MEP & Civil Contractors, Facility Management & other Segments.
• Experience from Ship Chandlers/ Trading Companies/ Direct Vessel supplies.
• Good knowledge of materials technically.
• Understanding client’s requirements, contacting suppliers, getting quotations, comparing prices and material specs, and submitting a quote with best offer.
• Prepare sales quotations in line with the company pricing policy and propose recommendations to the Sales Head.
• Hardworking to gain orders from clients by keeping a close follow up on quotes.
• Having vast supplier knowledge across UAE and International market.
• Follow up on material delivery, timely issuance of invoice and orders.
• Maintaining accurate records
• Coordinating with Sales team and delivery team for material collection, delivery, Invoice submission, payment follow up.
• Strong relation with Local and Overseas Manufactures and suppliers.
• Ensuring the Delivery and Client satisfaction.
• Keeping all records and report submission in monthly to the management
• Logistics handling (Import and Export)
• Follow up with suppliers and manufactures in regular time interval for their price and new products updating.
• Keeping all suppliers, Manufacturers, client’s details in confidential
• Candidates willing to relocate to Dubai.
