Job Summary:

The Sales Promoter is responsible for promoting products to customers, increasing brand awareness, and driving sales at retail outlets or promotional events. This role requires excellent communication, persuasion skills, and the ability to create a positive brand experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:Product Promotion & Sales

· Promote and demonstrate products to potential customers in stores, malls, exhibitions, or events.

· Educate customers about product features, benefits, and usage.

· Upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue.

· Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Customer Engagement

· Interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.

· Answer customer queries and provide solutions promptly.

· Collect customer feedback and report market insights to management.

· Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.

Merchandising & Display

· Arrange and maintain product displays, promotional stands, and point-of-sale materials.

· Ensure products are presented according to brand guidelines and standards.

· Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Reporting & Documentation

· Maintain records of sales, promotions, and customer interactions.

· Report daily sales and promotional activities to the supervisor.

· Track competitor activities and market trends.

Skills & Requirements:

· Proven experience in sales, marketing, or promotional roles (FMCG preferred).

· Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.

· Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

· Good time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma/Bachelor’s in Marketing or Business is a plus.

· 1–3 years of experience in sales promotion, brand activation, or merchandising.

· Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or during promotional campaigns.
