Position Overview: The Sales Representative is responsible for selling and renting storage container products, ground level offices, and related products and services over the internet, in-person, and via company phone systems. They develop and build profitable short term and long-term customer relationships while providing excellent customer service, account management, and closure rate.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Rent and sell storage container products, ground-level offices, and related products and services through a variety of internet sales mediums, incl. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, etc., over the phone, and in-person.
  • Maintain a methodology of proactivity and immediate follow-up, ensuring your ads are posted, worked, and converted with a focus on timeliness and closure rate.
  • Use excellent customer service skills to handle calls and inquiries.
  • Send out periodic email blasts and promotions.
  • Respond promptly to sales and rental leads, ensuring follow-up until conversion.
  • Practice effective sales techniques to drive conversions and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist walk-in customers, take customers to yard to showcase product.
  • Solicit sale and rental opportunities through cold calling and outbound sales efforts.
  • Utilize Salesforce, entering customer information accurately into the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Manage delivery and pick-up schedules for sold and rented containers.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely returns and pickups.
  • Ensure all containers meet customer expectations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate pickups, lease transfers, and repossessions as needed.
  • Continually refine sales techniques and stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Actively participate in training to enhance skills and product knowledge.
  • Maintain reliability and punctuality in work hours.
  • Perform collateral duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience (candidates who believe they meet criteria without this requirement will be considered).
  • Marketing skills, including but not limited to ability to post social media ads for Dry Box products and Services using personal accounts.
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the business to enable effective operating decision-making.
  • Strong selling and value selling skills.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and with a team.

MINIMUM TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong over-the-phone conversational ability.
  • Tech and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • A track record of business success and responsibility growth.

  • Strong organizational ability.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Superior time management skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Industry experience is preferred.
  • 1 years’ internet sales experience.

Pay Range: ~$18-22/hr + commission from Day 1.
