Sales Representative - Commission Pay

We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to take responsibility for growing our local business region. Sales territory to include New York, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Candidate must live inside the sales territory,

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the overall relationship and management of day-to-day sales activities towards residential and commercial customers in his/ her territory. You will engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually, ultimately serving as a business advisor towards your customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Run warm outbound campaigns (calls + texts)
  • Qualify owners, uncover needs, pitch funding solutions, close deals (eventually)
  • Move deals through our dashboards
  • Hit daily + monthly goals

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication & organization skills.
  • Experience in sales, optimally outside sales within the building materials or construction industries
  • Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth
  • Knowledge or experience within these areas is preferred: building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
  • Highly motivated, able to self-direct and manage your own time and responsibilities, organize and plan
  • Able to learn and proficiently use our sales program to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks
  • As this position requires regular automobile travel, you must have your own independent, reliable transportation. This position requires you to work "in the field," making in-person visits to customers three to four days per week
  • Reliable transportation, flexible schedule (6 days/week). Self-motivated; works well independently or on a team.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
  • Able to work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Confident and articulate in public speaking.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Projected Total Compensation: $51,719.70 - $62,286.09 per year
