Experience: 1+ Years (Mechanical equipment sales)
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical (Mandatory)

Role Overview

The Sales Support Engineer will act as a key link between Sales and Engineering teams, providing technical support across pre-sales, proposal development, and post-sales activities for mechanical/process industry products.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product range, technical features, functionalities, and applications
• Provide pre-sales technical support, attend sales meetings, and address client queries
• Conduct client requirement analysis and recommend suitable engineering solutions
• Support preparation of technical proposals, specifications, and documentation
• Develop and maintain technical documents, manuals, and training material
• Coordinate with engineering/product teams to share customer feedback
• Assist sales strategy initiatives and market expansion activities
• Conduct basic market and competitor research when required
• Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training
• Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and industry events

Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in mechanical equipment / process industry / project-based sales
• Exposure to chemical, pharmaceutical equipment, process industry, or EPC consulting preferred
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical systems
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
• Analytical, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
