Sales Support Engineer
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Engineer to join a growing team based in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career within the HVAC industry, supporting sales operations while building technical expertise in equipment selection and quotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate quotations based on technical configurations provided by Technical Sales Managers
- Develop the ability to independently select HVAC equipment over time
- Support the preparation and delivery of high-volume client quotations and product requests
- Liaise with the factory on technical queries and project requirements, both pre- and post-sales
- Act as a point of contact for customers in the absence of Sales Managers
- Coordinate deliveries with customers and logistics providers
- Work closely with commissioning engineers and customers to ensure project readiness
- Prepare and issue Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation
- Support aftersales activities, including handling service queries and issues
- Assist with Service & Maintenance contracts, including issuing and chasing invoices
- Manage warranty follow-ups, including extended warranties
- Support critical spares processes, including pricing and coordination with the factory
- Provide cover for sales administration when required
- Assist with marketing activities such as case studies and CPD support
Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSEs (Grade 4 or above, or equivalent)
Desirable:
- City & Guilds qualification
- HNC/HND in Engineering
- NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification
Experience
Desirable:
- 2–5 years’ experience within the HVAC industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
