Sales Team Leader

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop, implement and monitor effective sales plans, strategies and performance initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities, potential clients and business expansion areas and coordinate recommendations with senior management.
  • Review and approve quotations, proposals and sales documents prepared by Sales Executives prior to submission to clients.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and team performance and submit regular performance updates and achievement reports to the General Manager.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and recording of all sales transactions within Odoo in compliance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with the Accounts Department to follow up on client payments, collections and outstanding balances.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensure customer satisfaction and resolve client complaints or issues in coordination with the General Manager.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales performance reports, including analysis and recommendations for management review.
  • Support and participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, promotional activities, and business development initiatives.
  • Prepare, review and analyze sales reports, operational expenses and relevant financial data to support informed business decision-making.
  • Remain accountable for achieving assigned sales objectives while maintaining long-term client relationships and professional service standards.

What we are looking for:

  • 2-3 years proven experience in sales and team leadership (Food Chain experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Good analytical skills with experience in sales reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Experience handling client relationships and resolving customer issues professionally.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Odoo) and Microsoft Office.
  • Well-organized, results-driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
