We are expanding our Windows, Doors & Siding Division and are seeking a veteran sales closer to join our team as a Design Consultant.

This role offers significant upward mobility, with clear pathways into senior sales, leadership, training, and regional management roles for proven performers.

Position Overview

This is a high-level sales role with a design-focused presentation — not a retail position and not an order-taking role.

The Design Consultant meets with homeowners, uncovers needs, presents premium solutions, negotiates effectively, and closes deals. Product knowledge can be taught.
Closing ability cannot.

AQE provides consistent, high-quality leads, but the strongest performers also create momentum through referrals and self-generated opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong personal and professional network and understands that relationships create revenue.

This position is ideal for someone who is:

  • A proven closer with a strong history of negotiated sales

Responsibilities

  • Run pre-qualified, company-provided leads
  • Generate additional opportunities through referrals, networking, and personal contacts
  • Conduct in-home consultations and deliver confident, value-based presentations
  • Negotiate pricing, overcome objections, and close contracts
  • Accurately measure projects and complete required documentation (training provided)
  • Maintain CRM notes, follow-ups, and pipeline activity
  • Coordinate with Production and Operations to ensure successful project execution
  • Represent American Quality Exteriors with professionalism, credibility, and integrity

QualificationsRequired

  • 2+ years of proven closing experience in a sales role (any industry)
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high-value transactions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean, professional appearance suitable for in-home consultations
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and performance-driven
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to leverage a personal and professional network for lead generation

Preferred

  • In-home or consultative sales experience
  • Window, siding, or exterior remodeling experience (not required)
