Salesforce Administrator

About Edge

Edge helps medical, dental, and insurance organizations scale faster and operate more efficiently by providing pre-vetted, global talent to handle mission-critical administrative work: documentation, scheduling, billing, claims, and more. We combine rigorous training with a people-first approach, so our clients can focus on customer experiences while we handle the rest.

We combine data-driven sourcing strategies with deep industry expertise to deliver results that go beyond resumes. We’re now expanding our sales development team to accelerate growth and that’s where you come in.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Administrator to own and evolve our Salesforce environment end-to-end. This role combines day-to-day administration, advanced declarative automation (Flows and Sub-flows), and light Apex development. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Talent Development to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and well-documented solutions while maintaining platform performance and data integrity.

What you'll do

  • Own user and access management (users, roles, profiles, permission sets/groups, sharing rules), including provisioning, deactivation, license management, password resets, and periodic access reviews
  • Maintain and optimize core CRM configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning pages, record types, validation rules) while monitoring org health (performance, storage, API usage) and proactively resolving issues
  • Manage sandbox environments and end-to-end deployments across Dev, UAT, and Production, ensuring stability and release readiness
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable Flows (all types) and reusable Sub-flows; migrate Workflow Rules and Process Builder to Flow using best practices (bulkification, fault handling, decision logic, scheduled paths, testing, and documentation standards)
  • Develop and maintain Apex (classes, triggers, test classes ≥75% coverage), build invocable Apex for Flow extensions, debug production issues, and follow governor limits, SOQL best practices, and trigger frameworks; collaborate on LWC and custom development
  • Own and manage integrations across marketing, ERP/finance, support, e-signature, communication, and data enrichment tools; configure using APIs, Named Credentials, Platform Events, External Services, and middleware/iPaaS (Zapier, Workato, MuleSoft, etc.)
  • Oversee AppExchange ecosystem (evaluation, installation, maintenance), integration security (OAuth, Connected Apps, API users, IP ranges, certificates), and monitor API limits, sync failures, and logs with alerting and issue triage
  • Maintain data integrity through imports/exports, deduplication, validation, duplicate/matching rules, and manage backups, archival, retention, and compliance (e.g., GDPR/CCPA); support audits and access/change tracking
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize backlog, lead discovery, UAT, and release planning, and maintain documentation (data dictionary, process flows, release notes, admin runbooks)
  • Own Salesforce release and change management lifecycle (seasonal releases, testing, communication, deployment via Change Sets or DevOps tools like Gearset/Copado/Salesforce DX) and drive continuous improvement

What you'll need (Include what success looks like)

  • 3+ years Salesforce administration experience (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud) with strong ownership of production environments
  • Proven experience building complex Flows and Sub-flows and migrating legacy automation
  • Working knowledge of Apex (triggers, classes, test classes) and debugging
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, OWD)
  • Hands-on experience with integrations and working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, Connected Apps, and Named Credentials
  • Experience with AppExchange tools, middleware/iPaaS platforms, and integration monitoring
  • Experience with data tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard) and maintaining data quality/governance
  • Experience managing sandbox environments, deployments, and release cycles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
  • Preferred: Salesforce certifications; experience with LWC, SOQL/SOSL, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Experience Cloud, Field Service; DevOps tools; event-driven architectures; AppExchange lifecycle management

What success looks like:

  • Month 1: Fully ramped on org, data model, automations, and integrations
  • Month 3: Independently managing backlog, shipping automation improvements, and reducing technical debt
  • Month 6: Trusted partner with predictable release cadence and measurable improvements in data quality, system performance, and user satisfaction
