You Are:

UST is looking for an experienced Salesforce FSL Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for a professional who excels at collaborating with business stakeholders to define requirements and then translating those into high-level technical designs that guide our development team.


The opportunity:

  • Business Requirement Analysis: Lead discovery sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to deeply understand current processes, identify pain points, and define comprehensive business and functional requirements.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and efficient Salesforce solutions, leveraging a combination of declarative features and identifying areas that require custom development (Apex, LWC).
  • High-Level Technical Blueprinting: Prepare high-level technical solution designs and architectural blueprints, outlining how requirements will be met, specifying integration points, and guiding the development team.
  • Functional & Technical Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between the business team and the Salesforce development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Hands-on Capability (as needed): While not a primary development role, be capable of getting hands-on with Salesforce configuration, Apex, or LWC to prototype solutions, assist with complex troubleshooting, or understand technical nuances when required.
  • Service Cloud Specialization: Provide expert guidance and solutions within our highly customized Salesforce Service Cloud environment, understanding its complexities and proposing improvements.

What you need:

  • Salesforce Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Consultant on complex Salesforce implementation and optimization projects.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Exceptional ability to analyse complex business processes, identify challenges, and translate them into actionable Salesforce solutions.
  • Solution Design Expertise: Proven track record in designing scalable and effective Salesforce solutions, balancing declarative and programmatic approaches.
  • Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of Salesforce's technical capabilities, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Hands-on Readiness: While not a daily coding role, demonstrate the ability and willingness to get hands-on with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC) if the situation demands.
  • Service Cloud Focus: In-depth experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud are essential, including its customization aspects.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, from business users to senior developers.
  • Field Service Expertise: Proven, hands-on project experience with Salesforce Field Service, including the managed package, data model, and mobile application configuration.
  • FSL Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the FSL scheduling engine, optimization logic, and best practices for implementation in a complex business environment. Salesforce Certifications: Required: Salesforce Field Service Consultant ,Salesforce Administrator ,Salesforce Platform App Builder ,Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Highly Desired: Salesforce Platform Developer II ,Salesforce Sharing and Visibility Designer ,Architect-level certifications

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $120,000-$180,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
