Job Description: Salesforce and Portal Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce Customization and Development:

o Customize and develop Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions, including objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows.

o Write and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and batch processes to automate complex business logic.

o Create and customize Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance user interfaces and functionality.

o Manage data import/export activities and perform data validation to ensure data integrity.

2. Omni-Channel Management:

o Configure and optimize Omni-Channel to streamline workload distribution among agents.

o Set up routing configurations, queues, and presence statuses to improve case and task management.

o Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track Omni-Channel performance and metrics.

o Provide support and training to users on Omni-Channel features and best practices.

o Experience with Omnistudio (Preferred).

3. Portal Development and Management:

o Develop and customize Salesforce Community (Experience Cloud) portals for customer self-service and partner collaboration.

o Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless navigation within portals.

o Configure security settings, permission sets, and sharing rules to control access to data and features.

o Manage content and knowledge base articles available through the portal to enhance user experience.

4. Integration and Deployment:

o Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

o Use change sets and DevOps tools to manage deployments and ensure smooth transitions between Salesforce environments.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce solutions with other systems and platforms.

5. Support and Troubleshooting:

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, Omni-Channel, and portals.

o Provide user support and gather feedback to continuously improve Salesforce solutions and user experience.

o Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce configurations, processes, and customizations.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

o Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather requirements and design effective solutions.

o Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

o Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including Sales Cloud, Omni-Channel, and portal development.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs. Experience with Salesforce Community (Experience Cloud) is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II preferred. Additional certifications related to Sales Cloud, Omni-Channel, or Experience Cloud are a plus.

· Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
