Salesforce QA Engineer (Senior Test Engineer)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled 4-6 years experienced Salesforce QA Engineer (Senior Test Engineer) to lead and execute quality assurance activities across our Salesforce platform. This role requires strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.

You will play a key role in defining the QA strategy, testing and ensuring high-quality releases across complex Salesforce implementations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

● Own and define the Salesforce testing and QA strategy, covering functional, regression, integration, API, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

● Drive the transition from manual testing to low-code/no-code automation and AI-assisted testing where applicable.

● Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud solutions.

● Partner with Developers and Technical Leads to ensure full test coverage for Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and APIs.

● Test Salesforce configurations including objects, workflows, flows, validation rules, security, sharing rules, reports, and dashboards.

● Validate and execute Salesforce integration testing (REST/SOAP APIs middleware, and event-driven integrations).

● Oversee regression testing execution, parallel test runs, and environment-specific validation across sandboxes and production.

● Establish and track testing KPIs and quality metrics, providing visibility into release readiness and risk.

● Manage defects using tools such as Jira

● Prepare and maintain test plans, test strategies, test data, traceability matrices, and test summary reports.

Required Skills & Experience

● 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing.

● Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and security models.

● Solid experience in functional and automation testing on the Salesforce platform.

● Proven experience testing Salesforce integrations using Postman

● Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

● Proficiency in SOQL and Salesforce data validation techniques.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
