The Salon Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the salon, ensuring high-quality customer service, supervising staff, increasing sales, and maintaining professional service standards. The role focuses on team leadership, client satisfaction, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Salon Operations
- Oversee daily salon activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage appointment scheduling and customer flow.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the salon.
2. Staff Management
- Supervise, train, and support salon staff such as hairstylists, beauticians, and receptionists.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve service quality.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure clients receive excellent service and a positive salon experience.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Build strong relationships with regular clients to encourage repeat business.
4. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Monitor daily and monthly sales performance.
- Promote salon services, packages, and retail products.
- Implement strategies to increase client bookings and retail sales.
5. Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor salon product stock and tools.
- Order supplies and coordinate with vendors.
- Track product usage to prevent shortages or waste.
6. Financial Responsibilities
- Manage billing, cash handling, and daily sales reports.
- Track expenses and maintain cost control.
- Report business performance to management or owners.
7. Marketing & Promotions
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Promote salon services through social media and local advertising.
- Assist in organizing special offers, events, or loyalty programs.
