Salon Receptionist

Position Overview

As the Salon Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all clients—setting the tone for a five-star experience. The ideal candidate must have previous salon experience in the UAE, excellent communication skills, and a polished, professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and ensure a welcoming and professional front-desk environment.
  • Manage client bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using salon software (e.g., Fresha, Mindbody, etc.).
  • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and respond to client inquiries promptly and politely.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules and optimize daily booking flow.
  • Confirm appointments and manage client reminders.
  • Handle payments (cash, card, and online) and issue receipts accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Upsell services, promotions, and retail products when appropriate.
  • Track and maintain client records and ensure all client information is kept confidential.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role within a salon or spa in the UAE.
  • Proficiency in salon booking systems and customer service best practices.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or other language skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-groomed, presentable, and professional at all times.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of salon services, treatments, and beauty products is an advantage.
  • Must have a valid UAE residency or work permit.
