Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Salon Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our vibrant salon. Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Manage appointment bookings using the POS (Point of Sale) system, ensuring efficient scheduling and confirmation
• Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments promptly
• Upsell salon services and retail products by understanding client needs and product features
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including merchandising and stocking retail shelves
• Conduct product demos when appropriate to educate clients about new offerings or promotions
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and supporting merchandising efforts
• Support team members with basic retail sales, promoting salon packages and retail items to maximize revenue

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred, especially within a grocery store or retail environment
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse client needs effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math ensures smooth transaction processing
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and team members alike
• Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising will contribute to success in this role
• Knowledge of phone etiquette standards enhances client interactions over the phone
