SAP Case Management Functional Consultant

The SAP Case Management Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, testing, training, and post go-live support of SAP Case Management and related SAP solutions. The role requires strong end-to-end business process understanding, integration awareness with other SAP modules and third-party applications, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP functional solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Implement SAP Case Management and NetWeaver Folder Management during implementation, enhancement, and support assignments.

· Gather, analyze, review, and validate business requirements with key business stakeholders and project teams.

· Prepare, review, and validate business process documentation and Blueprint / solution design documents.

· Configure SAP solutions based on approved business requirements and agreed solution design.

· Execute unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and support final user acceptance testing with business teams.

· Identify customization and development requirements and communicate them clearly to the technical / ABAP development team.

· Support workflow, forms, Fiori, integrations, and API-related functional requirements in coordination with technical teams.

· Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, issue logs, and user training materials as required.

· Deliver key user training and knowledge transfer during the project lifecycle.

· Prepare key user manuals and handover documentation for business and support teams.

· Monitor assigned scope, deliverables, and timelines to ensure project activities are completed as planned.

· Provide post go-live support, issue analysis, defect resolution coordination, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required Work Experience and Education

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or an equivalent major / qualification.

· Minimum 7 years of SAP consulting experience.

· Experience in at least 5 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects as an SAP Functional Consultant.

· Hands-on experience in SAP Case Management or SAP Record Management.

· Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodology, functional design, configuration, testing, training, and support activities.

· Preferred experience in government / public sector service process design and optimization.

· Preferred experience with SAP touchpoints including SD & Billing, FICO, Workflow and SAP BTP.

  • SAP Case Management.

  • SAP functional configuration and business process mapping.
  • ABAP debugging awareness and ability to coordinate effectively with ABAP developers.
  • SAP Workflow functional understanding.
  • SAP Fiori functional awareness and user experience considerations.
  • Integration / API awareness with SAP and third-party applications.
  • ERP and information systems knowledge.
  • Logical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills, and structured documentation skills.

Required Soft Skills and Language

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong presentation and business writing skills.
  • Ability to work with business users, technical teams, and project management teams.
  • Ability to understand complex requirements and propose practical solution options.
  • Arabic and English language skills are important for business communication, documentation, and user interaction.

Preferred Certifications / Training

  • SAP / ERP functional certification or relevant professional training.
  • Training or certification in information systems, business process management, or project delivery methodologies.
  • Soft skills training in communication, presentation, stakeholder management, or business writing.
