Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience to support ongoing financial operations and project activities for our client in Mumbai. The ideal candidate must have strong functional expertise, deep understanding of finance processes, and the ability to work closely with business teams in an onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day functional support for SAP FI and CO modules.
• Analyze business requirements, prepare functional documents, and implement changes.
• Perform configuration in core areas such as:
• GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting and Payments
• Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders
• Profit Center Accounting and COPA
• Coordinate with business users for issue analysis and provide timely resolutions.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Work with cross-functional modules (MM/SD/PP) to resolve integration issues.
• Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments.
• Assist in user testing (UAT), training, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and statutory reporting.
• Participate in enhancement, rollout, and minor project activities as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of strong functional experience in SAP FICO.
• In-depth knowledge of Finance & Controlling business processes.
• Experience in handling support, enhancements, or rollout projects.
• Hands-on expertise in Indian taxation (GST/TDS) and financial reporting.
• Ability to interact with business users and work independently in an onsite setup.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Additional Information

• Work Mode: 100% Onsite – Mumbai
• Contract Duration: Initially 6 months; can be extended up to 1–2 years based on project needs.
• BGV: Background verification is compulsory prior to onboarding.
