SAP Functional Consultant

We are currently seeking a SAP S4/Hana Functional Consultant who will be responsible for being the link between business needs and SAP solutions, driving efficiency across production planning and supply chain processes. You’ll work hands-on with SAP PP and APO modules, focusing on configuration, support, and continuous optimization to deliver real operational impact.

Our client based in Dubai , a leading Semi-Government entity in the UAE and a global leader in its industry. This position is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable .

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business teams and IT to shape and improve production planning processes using SAP PP & APO.
• Configure and support SAP PP modules—MRP, MPS, capacity planning, shop floor control, and product costing.
• Drive efficiency in SAP APO modules, including Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and PP/DS.
• Turn business needs into actionable functional designs, test plans, and system setups.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve SAP production issues to keep operations running smoothly.
• Collaborate across teams (MM, QM, IT) to ensure seamless integration and process alignment.
• Contribute to SAP projects—from implementations to upgrades and enhancements—following structured project frameworks.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing support to maximize the impact of SAP solutions.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP PP & APO experience in global manufacturing environments.
• Expert in SAP PP & APO functionalities and their integration with MM & QM.
• Skilled in production support, troubleshooting, and full lifecycle SAP projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Great communicator with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Knowledgeable about manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Supply Chain Planning & Optimization (SAP APO)
