Position Overview

We are looking for a SAP HCM Consultant (part-time/contract) to support our HR operations through SAP S/4HANA. The role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing HCM modules such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll. The consultant will collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure system reliability, resolve user issues, and implement process improvements. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver results efficiently while working flexibly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain SAP HCM core modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, and Payroll (as applicable).
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and recommend SAP-based solutions.
  • Configure and customize SAP HCM modules according to business needs.
  • Provide day-to-day functional support, troubleshooting, and timely issue resolution for end users.
  • Ensure smooth integration between SAP HCM, FI, and SuccessFactors modules.
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for system developments.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Deliver end-user training and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Participate in upgrades, enhancement projects, and data migration activities when required.


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in SAP HCM implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll modules.
  • Experience with SAP HR reporting and integration with SuccessFactors (a plus).
  • Familiarity with SAP HCM on S/4HANA (advantageous).

Technical Skills:

  • Proven ability in SAP HCM configuration, customization, and support.
  • Skilled in preparing functional specifications and working with technical teams.
  • Understanding of HR reporting tools and payroll functionalities.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and cloud-based HR integrations (preferred).

Certifications (Preferred):

  • SAP Certified Application Associate – HCM.
  • SuccessFactors certification (advantageous).

  • High accountability and ability to manage flexible part-time engagements.
