SAP PO Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PO (Process Orchestration) Consultant with strong integration expertise to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions. The candidate will work on complex SAP and non-SAP integrations across multiple business-critical systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and secure data exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP Process Orchestration (PO/PI) integration scenarios
• Build and maintain A2A (Application-to-Application) and B2B integrations
• Develop interfaces using IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, and file-based communication
• Monitor and troubleshoot interface failures using SAP PI/PO monitoring tools
• Work on Java mapping, XSLT mapping, and UDFs where required
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather integration requirements
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between SAP and external systems
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of integration flows
• Support incident management, problem resolution, and change requests
• Maintain technical documentation for all integration solutions
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO (Process Integration / Process Orchestration)
• Strong experience in SAP PO middleware architecture and integration design
• Hands-on expertise in:
• ESR (Enterprise Services Repository)
• ID (Integration Directory)
• ICO (Integrated Configuration Objects)
• Strong knowledge of adapters:
• SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, File, SFTP
• Experience in mapping techniques (Graphical, XSLT, Java mapping)
• Experience in monitoring tools and error handling in SAP PO
• Good understanding of security concepts (SSL, certificates, encryption)
• Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (web services, APIs, cloud platforms)
• Strong debugging and analytical skills

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios
• Exposure to SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
• Knowledge of API Management and middleware modernization
• Experience in government or large enterprise environments
• Basic understanding of Java programming
