SAP Presales Lead

Role Purpose

The SAP Presales Lead will own and drive the presales lifecycle for SAP opportunities, working closely with Sales, Delivery, and Partner teams to design compelling solutions, develop winning proposals, and support deal closure. The role requires strong Arabic and English communication skills to engage with customers across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end SAP presales process for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, demos, and customer workshops.
  • Act as the primary solution authority for SAP S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud), SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP BTP, SAP CX, SAC etc., and industry solutions.
  • Conduct requirement discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders in Arabic and English.
  • Design solution architectures aligned with customer business objectives, IT landscape, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare technical and functional proposals, solution architecture documents, compliance matrices, BoQs, and effort estimations.
  • Support commercial proposal development in collaboration with Sales and Delivery, including scope definition, assumptions, exclusions, and resourcing models.
  • Deliver high-impact customer presentations, value propositions, and solution demos.
  • Support contract negotiations from a scope and solution perspective.
  • Collaborate with SAP and hyperscaler partners (AWS, Azure, GCP) on joint solutions and GTM initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop reusable presales assets, proposal templates, solution accelerators, and case studies.
  • Provide input to Altivate’s solution portfolio, offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Mentor junior presales consultants and solution architects.
  • Support account planning, pipeline reviews, and forecast accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, with at least 4–6 years in a presales/solution architecture leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, EWM, or PS) and SAP cloud offerings (RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, BTP).
  • Proven experience responding to large enterprise RFPs and complex transformation programs.
  • Experience working with customers in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
  • Native or fluent Arabic speaker with strong professional English communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory)

  • SAP S/4HANA Functional/Technical Certifications.
  • SAP Activate Project Management.
  • SAP BTP Architecture or Integration certifications.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are an advantage.

Working Conditions
  • This role is totally remote
  • Travel within Saudi Arabia and GCC as required for customer meetings and workshops.
