SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Lead-Associate Manager

Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead to drive the design, configuration, and delivery of payroll processes as part of a major SAP transformation program. This role will focus on end-to-end payroll processing, payroll schema configuration, retroactive accounting, payroll integrations with Employee Central, and compliance with local labor laws, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions to support payroll operations.

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll schema configuration, retroactive accounting, and payroll calculations.

  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP ECP with Employee Central and other HCM modules.

  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.

  • Monitor and resolve issues related to payroll processes, ensuring system reliability and data accuracy.

  • Provide expertise in SAP ECP functionality and best practices to optimize system performance and user experience.

  • Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities for payroll solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and industry standards related to payroll operations.

  • Generate and deliver reports on payroll metrics, retroactive accounting, and compliance tracking to support HR and finance operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and system capabilities.


  • Experience: Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in SAP Employee Central Payroll implementation, configuration, and management, with a focus on payroll schema configuration and retroactive accounting.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP certification is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong expertise in SAP ECP modules and integration with Employee Central.

    • Proficiency in payroll schema configuration, retroactive accounting, and payroll processing.

    • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll is an advantage.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address system and process challenges.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and teams.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with local labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.

  • Project Management: Experience in managing SAP implementation projects, including testing, deployment, and support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in Employee Central Payroll modules.

  • Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation programs.

  • Knowledge of global payroll processes and compliance requirements.
