JOB OBJECTIVES:

The IT Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive knowledge and skills training in Information Technology, aligned with the approved IT curriculum and ARX policies and procedures.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver clear, pedagogically sound, and professionally effective lessons.

• Maintain current, relevant, and engaging curricula and materials.

• Respectfully manage all teaching resources and designated teaching areas.

• Participate in the ongoing review of curriculum content, teaching methods, and student assessment strategies.

• Conduct examinations, and assist in the preparation, grading, and assessment of exam papers and assignments.

• Prepare clear, pedagogically sound, and professional documentation and reports, submitted within the specified deadlines set by the accountable/reporting manager.

• Engage in student counseling, remediation, and administrative activities.

• Keep accurate records of all course materials delivered.

• Commit to maintaining professional competence through active participation in professional development activities offered by ARX .

• Regularly evaluate and self-assess teaching performance.

• Stay informed about relevant legislation affecting the education sector.

• Oversee and monitor classroom activities, ensuring compliance with ARX’s health and safety standards.

• Maintain a positive learning environment.

• Maintain accurate daily attendance records.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the accountable/reporting manager or senior management.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of three ( 3 ) years of related teaching.

• Fluent English speaker.

• Recognized teaching qualification from an accredited university.

IELTS Academic score of 6 or STEP score of 83 .



SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in teaching technology platforms such as Blackboard and Brightspace.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Ability to complete administrative tasks to a high standard.
