SC Agro Territory Manager - Kasur

Overview:

Under direction from Company management and agricultural experts, support farmers to produce seed and chip-stock that meets international standards of PepsiCo for Crisp (chips) processing.

Responsibilities:

Crop monitoring, data extraction from assigned growers on weekly basis.

• Data validation of assigned Agro Interns through combined visits.
• Farm advisory services and adoption of Agro Best Practices in field.
• Provide visibility of crop performance in the field to management and recommend corrective actions to growers.
• Configuration of SmartAGRO devices. Master Data creation and maintenance.
• Help Agro regional manager in variety trials, evaluation and other research as and when required.
• New area development to stretch the fresh window for continuous fresh potato supply to reduce reliance on expensive storage and got best quality fresh Potatoes.
• Training to field team and farmers staff on crop best practices.
• Use of the agro machinery and field operation solution for WIN-WIN, as cost effective and Quality management.
• Under direction, manage specific potato projects and programs
• Help Agro Regional Manager in AOP volumes procurements.
• Field testing, data collection, grower’s complaint handling.
• Implementation of SFP agenda for assigned growers with certification.
• Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time to time assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Agriculture Graduate Recommended - Master's Degree in Production Sciences ie. PBG, Agronomy & Plant Science, Soil sciences and Horticulture, Food Technology
  Knowledge of potato growing area, farmers and crop management
  Technical know-how about different pest and their control.
  Fluent in English and local languages
  Having strong analytical skills and being result oriented
  3 / 4 years' experience at supervisory level with any agribusiness company
