Position Objective:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Scaffolding Coordinator who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all scaffolding activities on construction sites. This includes ensuring scaffolds are erected, modified, inspected, and dismantled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The Scaffolding Coordinator acts as the key link between the construction team, scaffolding contractors, and safety personnel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scaffolding plans, schedules, and material requirements in line with project timelines.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to determine scaffolding needs.
  • Ensure all scaffolding activities are integrated into the overall construction schedule.
  • Supervise scaffolding crews and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Oversee scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling according to drawings, load requirements, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of scaffolds to verify stability and suitability for intended use.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for scaffolding teams.
  • Maintain and update scaffold registers, tagging systems, and inspection records.
  • Liaise with safety officers, engineers, and site supervisors regarding scaffold requirements and status.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on scaffolding progress, manpower, and materials usage.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Certified Scaffolding Supervisor or Inspector (CITB, CISRS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and relevant safety standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting scaffolding drawings and load calculations.
  • Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
